Kam Amirzafari, CFP®

Managing Partner

Kam Amirzafari is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, who has also earned his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP™) designation.

For over a decade, Kam has earned a reputation for providing skilled and practical guidance as a trusted insurance professional and financial planner. He believes in fostering long-term relationships in order to help clients manage life goals and pursue financial well-being. He taught courses at Prudential’s New Agent School, the Center for Financial Planning Excellence and the Capstone Retirement Planning School.

Kam received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Environmental Economics from Rutgers University, and a Master’s degree in Financial Services from the American College. Kam holds the Series 7, Series 63 and 65 securities registrations through LPL Financial, and is also licensed to sell life, health, disability, and property and casualty insurance.

He is a member of the Mercer County Estate Planning Council, the Financial Planning Associations, and the Gift Planning Council of New Jersey. Kam is also active in the Spirit of Princeton community service organization, and a former paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.

Sherry E. MacLean, CFP®

Managing Partner

Sherry E. MacLean is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry.

Sherry’s family moved to Princeton, New Jersey in 1986. She joined forces with her father in 1993, and is the CFO of their private family office in downtown Princeton. Sherry understands the comprehensive financial planning needs of affluent families, business owners, and independent women in transition. She holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, and is licensed to sell life, health, disability, and property and casualty insurance. Sherry also holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications.

Sherry excels at problem-solving. Through her long tenure and strong community ties, she has established an impressive network of professionals, comprised of attorneys, accountants, and real estate associates, ready to quickly assist with client questions, needs and goals.

As an owner of a community-based company in Princeton’s central business district, Sherry sponsors many local organizations including the Historical Society of Princeton, the Princeton Family YMCA, the Women in Business Alliance, and the Spirit of Princeton, among others. Sherry is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arts Council of Princeton. She is a strong advocate for doing business locally, and believes that supporting the local merchants is critical to maintaining a unique and vibrant downtown for its residents. Sherry enjoys living just a short walk from her offices in town.

Arielle Urban

Client Services Assistant

The newest addition to the MacLean Agency, Arielle Urban received a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in communication and cognitive science, from Villanova University in 2013. With an interest in qualitative analysis in relation to client service and relationship building, Arielle decided to pursue a career in finance after graduation. Prior to joining the Agency, she worked as a paraplanner. Arielle
holds the Series 6 and Series 63 securities registrations through LPL Financial, and and holds the life, health and disability insurance licenses.

Arielle was born and raised in New Jersey. She likes staying active and taking hikes throughout the state with her Welsh corgi, Pixie. As a former Division 1 lacrosse player, Arielle also enjoys coaching youth lacrosse programs for DEWLAX, the premier lacrosse education company.
